In Marosi's art, the dialogue between reality, memory, dream, and imagination creates surreal spaces where unified spatial perception is replaced by subjective spatial experience. The colors and forms simultaneously reference visual phenomena, personal memories, and emblematic objects of collective visual memory. At the same time, the suggestion of hidden symbols opens doors to new layers of interpretation.
Previously focused primarily on interior scenes, the artist’s paintings have recently shifted towards expansive landscapes, guiding the viewer's gaze outward. Thus, interior and exterior, above and below, imagination and reality blend equally on the artist's characteristically bold, vividly colored canvases.
